Data on thousands of students and tests of models of entrepreneurial intentions and attitudes suggest a clear path to improve entrepreneurship education:

1.  Focus on intrinsic barriers and motives.
2.  Focus on gender differences.
3.  Focus on understanding students better.

And, character may matter more than skills. We discuss re-directing effort to better understand students’ psychological dimensions, and ways to  beneficially shape them.
